of this Colony as a showroom and depot for their wares.

This Government on its part undertakes that no armed

aeroplanes or arms or fixtures of the nature of armament

(such as bomb racks) which have arrived on consignment and

are not in transit to China as a result of a contract

definitely closed before the machines or equipment left

the United Kingdom shall be permitted to leave its territory without the express sanction of the Central Government of

China.
